The photo on my website reflects a childhood memory that has always stayed with me. From my home, I could see Catalina Island, and I remember watching police boats gathering there after Natalie Wood’s passing. Even as a child, I sensed how fragile and complicated life can be.

As an adult, I spent over 17 years as a diplomat, working with people around the world. But my calling to counseling and coaching comes from something even closer to home. I have lived with a husband who suffered from severe combat-related PTSD, and later with a significant other who struggled in similar ways. I truly understand what these experiences do to a person — and the ripple effects they have on families.

That is why I am here. When life feels too heavy to go on, I want you to know that it isn’t the end of the story. Healing is possible. It took me a long time to come through both of those relationships, but on the other side, life feels freer, clearer, and more hopeful. My goal is to walk with you toward that same freedom.
